For Backpackers on a budget, these are basic ,small unisex well insulated rooms with 2 bunk beds per room, lockers, storage shelves, quality bed linen( fitted and flat sheets per bed, feather duvets , pillows, blankets), hot water bottles and wall heaters. Unique décor. There are a total of 4 of these dormitory rooms each sleeping 4 people. New modern, unisex bathrooms with stylish glass shower doors and tilework , toilets and one marvellous outdoor shower with a view!

Free standing environmentally friendly, thatched roof ,traditionally built, round rondavels ( made from ‘dakha’ – clay soil , poles , ‘tengus’ – tree branches and grass thatch ,all sourced on site / locally ,built by Zulu men and clad by local women ) . These building materials make the rondavel well insulated for hot summer days and cold winter days. Simply furnished with ethnic pine cupboards, two have double beds , one has twin beds and a small rondavel is a private room for a single person only. Quality linen- fitted and flat sheets, feather duvets, pillows, blankets, bath towels, luxury hand soap ,lotion and shower gel provided. Your own toilet ,shower, handbasin , oil heater for winter, kettle, complimentary tea , Coffee, organic Fair Trade plunger coffee ,our own farm milk and information file provided

Suited to large groups on a budget. Has four dormitories sleeping 25 people in total ( one dormitory has 2 bunk beds, the second has 3 bunk beds, upstairs is a third dorm with 9 single beds and a fourth dorm with 6 single beds), sheets, pillows, feather duvets provided, blankets and wall heaters for winter, fully equipped self-catering kitchen, dining area, sitting room with Queen Anne fireplace ( firewood provided free of charge, two new modern stylish bathrooms. Braai area in front garden – wood can be purchased for braaing purposes. The Group Facility can be used as overflow dormitory accommodation in busy times.

Basic camping area with grass and shade for small tents. Separate area for rooftop tented vehicles. No power points so unsuitable for caravans. Campers unisex ablutions ( two showers , two toilets and two handbasins), braai area, self-catering kitchen ( stove, fridge, kettle, sink, work surface ). No fridge provided. This is not an official camping site ,but simply an area offered to those who are on a strict budget and like the outdoors! We do not have designated sites, so occupancy of the camping area is on a first come, first served basis.
